I had a pretty good winter break with my family and friends. During the first week I had fun with my friend Natalie and the second week I went to my dad’s for christmas and halfway through christmas day I went to my mom’s side to celebrate. In between the first and second week; on the weekend me and my friends got together to celebrated my friend Adam’s 18th birthday by playing games for a few hours, then eating and having a bonfire in the back with a few of his friends too. And during my final week I spent time with one of my friends named Andrew that came back to visit from Florida. I stayed at his house for three days so Andrew and I could play games ,but it didn’t work out so we just had fun by talking and hanging out with other friends during those days.
The thing that I loved most about first semester was that we had more lunch days, rallies, activities, the work was easier and class was a lot more fun. Now the days feel longer, we haven’t had a rally or lunch day since last semester and the work has become slightly more difficult but it’s nothing I can’t handle. What I regret the most from last semester was that I didn’t go to more football games than I wanted too and that I procrastinated until I had to do most of my work at the end of the semester. This year reality has hit me because it’ll be the last time I’ll be a senior and the last time I’ll have fun as a student in Lindsay High School. This will be the last moments before becoming an adult and facing the real world, because of this I’ve decided to enjoy it by going out to more school events and activities to have a better experience and memories of my final year.
Before I graduate I’ll have to do all my work for my classes and pass, my senior project that includes my job shadow and my senior exit interview. I think the hardest thing out of all the things I have to do is all my classes ,but as in doing my exit interview it’ll be a challenge. I never like presenting because of how nervous I would get ,but some people say the interview is a lot easier than it sounds. I’ve recently applied to PC because it’ll be easier to go to and a lot smaller compared to COS.There I just plan to take my General Education for two years then I’ll transfer to a four-year University to finish my education on my major. I haven’t decided on if I just want technology or art and or something in between them for my major. But in the meantime I applied for an internship that’ll go as experience on my resume and might even get me paid as a bonus. Depending if I do get the position I just plan to go to college then applying to go work part-time at a minimum wage job or even work for someone that I know.
